Interview with Lauren Dudley Stephens, Co-Founder of Dudley Stephens
This April on the Basket Weave, we are delighted to feature, Lauren Dudley Stephens, Co-Founder and CEO of Dudley Stephens. Her vision and expertise are complemented by years of prior experience in celebrity dressing and VIP relations for leading fashion houses Calvin Klein and Gucci. In developing the Dudley Stephens collection, Lauren combines her essential classic-style sensibility with an instinctive understanding of customers’ preferences. As a mother of two young children, George and Elle, Lauren believes that good style and versatility for modern women can and should be synonymous. “We shouldn’t have to choose between looking chic and feeling comfortable,” she says. “Our brand was built on the idea that we should have both.” We spoke with Lauren this month, who lives in Greenwich, CT with her family to gather her Top 10 list for the Basket Weave this season.

#momboss – I’m in the middle of raising two young children, running a household, and running Dudley Stephens!
2. What are three things you can’t live without?
My family, Dudley Stephens, and my morning cup of coffee.
3. What’s your favorite time of day?
Morning! I am a morning person through and through.
4. Favorite beach?
Pelican Bay Beach in Naples, FL
5. Favorite pool?
The pool at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, FL where my husband and I were married!
6. Dream country to visit?
I have never been to Greece and it is definitely on bucket my list.
7. Most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?
I am not so much an adventurer by nature, I love being home with my husband, Graham, and my kids. My husband and I are going to Italy for our 10 year anniversary in May, so I would say that will be the most adventurous thing I have done since pre-Covid and having babies.
8. Vintage or new?
New, but always inspired by vintage!
9. Style Icon?
Jackie O, so obvious but always so inspiring.
